About Our Program:

The A-Z Learning Lab is an afterschool and summer program providing a safe place with structured activities for kids ages 3-12. It is designed specifically for residents of the Bingham Terrace Community. Our program is designed to help the students grow academically and to provide them with tools that will help them develop into responsible adults. Most importantly, our program is designed to give the children of our community a safe place to learn. The A-Z Lab was created because:

• Bright futures lay ahead for our children!
• They face situations and challenges that affect their attitudes and character, but we believe they can not only learn and grow through them, but can also excel academically and become overcomers.
• A child’s full potential or future cannot be known by a simple test or grading structure and leaves open, endless possibilities through vision, creativity, grit, and hard work.
• Children should have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow academically and in life.
• Learning is meant to be fun and inspiring!
• Everyone has potential and potential put into action creates success.

The A-Z Learning Lab participants experience a positive, team-minded environment that fosters the kind of attitude found in those who consistently succeed throughout their lives.  This kind of attitude embraces challenges, has resilience, applies effort, learns, and grows from encouragement and feedback, and celebrates personal success and the success of others.
