COVID-19 Agency Update

Due to COVID-19 our offices are closed to the public. However, we continue to conduct business by appointments only Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  All HMHA offices are closed on Fridays.  HMHA continues to accept applications for all programs.  Applications may be downloaded from this website or may be requested by mail by calling 740.942.8372 option 2.  Bingham Terrace Applications may be requested by calling 740.942.2215.

Mission Statement

The Harrison Metropolitan Housing Authority (HMHA), a civil subdivision of the State of Ohio, was founded in 1979, our mission is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing conditions for families of modest incomes and to manage resources efficiently.  HMHA promotes personal, economic and social upward mobility to provide families in Harrison County, Ohio the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.
