All apartments are non-smoking. Eligibility criteria is near elderly (50 or older) or disabled (meet the HUD definition of disabled), applicants must qualify under the income limits (gross annual income vs. per person income limit), must pass background screening, tenant screening and provide landlord references. The cost of rent includes all utilities. Rent is determined by the greater of 30% of a participant's adjusted monthly income or 10% of a participant's monthly income.

Steele Crest Apartments is located at 238 East Main St., Freeport, Ohio 43973, this community is a twenty unit complex. Apartments are all one bedroom with a stove, window air conditioner and refrigerator provided by Harrison MHA. All apartments are non-smoking. Eligibility criteria is near elderly (50 or older) or disabled (meet the HUD definition of disabled), applicants must qualify under the income limits (gross annual income vs. per person income limit), must pass background screening, tenant screening, and provide landlord references. The cost of rent includes all utilities. Application Instructions

​When completing the application please be sure to answer every question on the application with some type of a response, all questions must be answered with none being blank.  Along with the application please provide copies of all household members social security cards, birth certificates, along with photo ID's for everyone in the household age 18 and older.  Applications can be submitted by mail or by placing them in the RED drop box located at 82450 Cadiz-Jewett Road, Cadiz, Ohio 43907
